Giro d'Abruzzo 2026 – First stage Cupello-Casalincontrada

On 15 September 2026, the first stage of the Giro d'Abruzzo 2026 crosses the territory of Villa Santa Maria, starting from Cupello and ending in Casalincontrada. The route will use provincial roads 119, 133 and 147, passing through Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, the Bridge over the Sangro River, Via Scesa Valli, Viale della Vittoria and Via Roma, up to the Ficoretta area. To ensure the safety of the competition, access, transit, parking and stopping bans will be in effect along the route from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event is organized with the support of the Centro Operativo Comunale (C.O.C.) and the local Civil Protection.

La gara ciclistica attraverserà il centro abitato intorno alle ore 12:30 del 16 settembre 2026. Per garantire la sicurezza dei partecipanti e del pubblico, il traffico veicolare e la sosta saranno sospesi in Via Roma (dal civico 1 al 7) e in Via della Montagna dalle 11:45 fino al passaggio dell'automezzo di fine gara. L'ingresso da L'Aquila sarà interrotto all'altezza del civico 24 di Via Roma.

La "Gara d'Abruzzo 2026" fa tappa a Popoli Terme con la seconda frazione che collega il comune a Caramanico Terme. La gara ciclistica attraverserà il centro abitato e le aree urbane, con partenza prevista per il 16 settembre 2026. Per consentire lo svolgimento in sicurezza della competizione, sono istituiti divieti di sosta e transito in diverse vie e piazze del paese, a partire dalla sera del 15 settembre fino al pomeriggio del giorno della gara. L'evento è organizzato da RCS Sport S.p.A.

La manifestazione taglia in due il paese per un tempo prolungato, per cui il Comune ha attivato il Centro Operativo Comunale di Protezione Civile per garantire la sicurezza e minimizzare i disagi alla popolazione. L'evento è gratuito e aperto a tutti gli appassionati di ciclismo che vogliano assistere al passaggio dei corridori lungo le vie cittadine.
Giro d'Abruzzo - III^ tappa: passaggio a Gioia dei Marsi

Il 17 settembre 2026, Gioia dei Marsi ospita la III^ tappa del Giro d'Abruzzo, organizzata da RCS Sport S.p.A. Il percorso prevede un circuito di tre giri tra i comuni di Pescina, Gioia dei Marsi, Lecce nei Marsi, Ortucchio e San Benedetto dei Marsi. A Gioia dei Marsi sono previsti tre passaggi consecutivi con orari indicativi tra le 13:38 e le 15:01, oltre a un traguardo volante. Le strade interessate sono la S.S. 83 e via Lamarmora, con chiusure e divieti di sosta dalle 8:00 alle 15:40.
