Caliscendi al Castello brings five evenings dedicated to the flavors of the Teramo area to the park of Castello Della Monica. The initiative, promoted by the Os.Te. Ospitalità Teramana Association, follows in the footsteps of 'Calistelle' in Giulianova and combines wine tastings and street food in a historic setting. Each event features four local wineries and four restaurateurs offering glasses of wine paired with traditional dishes, to be enjoyed while strolling outdoors. The evenings are scheduled for Tuesday, August 4 and 25, and September 1, 8, and 15, 2026. Part of the proceeds will go towards completing a senior center in Leognano di Montorio al Vomano, combining gastronomy and solidarity.

Giro d'Abruzzo 2026 – First stage Cupello-Casalincontrada
Villa Santa Maria (CH)
On 15 September 2026, the first stage of the Giro d'Abruzzo 2026 crosses the territory of Villa Santa Maria, starting from Cupello and ending in Casalincontrada. The route will use provincial roads 119, 133 and 147, passing through Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, the Bridge over the Sangro River, Via Scesa Valli, Viale della Vittoria and Via Roma, up to the Ficoretta area. To ensure the safety of the competition, access, transit, parking and stopping bans will be in effect along the route from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event is organized with the support of the Centro Operativo Comunale (C.O.C.) and the local Civil Protection.

IL GIRO D'ABRUZZO 2026 - First stage Cupello/Casalincontrada

On September 15, 2026, the first stage of the Giro d'Abruzzo 2026, starting from Cupello and ending in Casalincontrada, passes through the municipal territory of Civitaluparella. The cycling race travels along Strada Provinciale n. 132, from the Montelapiano junction to the entrance of the town, continuing towards Montenerodomo. To ensure safety, from 12:00 to 15:00 (or until the complete passage) access, transit, parking and stopping bans are enforced along the route and on the municipal and private roads that join it.

On September 15, 2026, the 1st stage of the Giro Ciclistico d'Abruzzo crosses the territory of the Municipality of Torino di Sangro. The race is expected to pass around 11:50 AM along the SS16 Adriatica (in the localities of Valle Caterina, Lagodragoni and Borgata Marina) and along the SP119 Sangritana. The event is organized by RCS Sport spa.
