La Maggiolata di Ortona returns to celebrate the tradition of Abruzzese author songwriting. On August 1 and 2, 2026, the town hosts two days dedicated to regional choirs. On Saturday, August 1 at 6:00 PM, a historical-musicological seminar will be held at the Teatro F.P. Tosti, followed at 9:00 PM by the first concert in Piazza della Repubblica. On Sunday, August 2, also at 9:00 PM, a second outdoor choral concert. The event is organized by the Municipality of Ortona and the Regional Association of Choirs of Abruzzo (ARCA).
