On Saturday 31 October 2026 the historic village of Opi, at the foot of Monte Marsicano, hosts the twentieth edition of Sapori d'Autunno. For one day the village alleys, the same ones that in Riccardo Milani's film take the imaginary name of Rape, fill with typical products and crafts. At 10 am the Mercato della Macchia and the guided excursion in the footsteps of the brigands towards the Parco della Val Fondillo open, among autumn woods and tales. From 6 pm the village comes alive with the historical re-enactment L'imboscata a Rupe, popular music and dances around the fire; at 6.30 pm the dinner A tavola con i briganti, by reservation. The event is organised by the Pro Loco di Opi with the patronage of the Comune di Opi. On the same days the exhibition on post-unification brigandage is open, set up at Arte e Comando and in the Sale Consiliari.
