Settimana Europea della Mobilità 2026

Il Comune dell'Aquila aderisce alla Settimana Europea della Mobilità 2026, promossa dalla Commissione Europea, con un ricco programma di eventi dal 16 al 22 settembre 2026 sul tema "Mobilità intergenerazionale". Il programma prevede l'apertura ufficiale il 16 settembre a Palazzo Fibbioni, una ciclo pedalata di 15 km, proiezioni cinematografiche a tema, la campagna di educazione stradale "Bicycle Heroes" nelle scuole, e il Mobility Village con Parking Day e World Car-Free Day il 19 e 20 settembre a Largo Giovanni Pischedda e Piazza San Bernardino, con stand, attività sportive, giochi e performance musicali.
L'Aquila Città del Libro – Festival Letterario Aquilano 2026

Quarta edizione del festival letterario che porta idee, pensieri e una chiara visione del mondo nel capoluogo abruzzese e nella provincia. Il programma prevede dibattiti, mostre e presentazioni librarie, con la partecipazione di associazioni locali. L'evento si svolge in Piazza del Teatro e, dal 23 al 27 settembre, anche al Ridotto "Vittorio Antonellini" del Teatro comunale.

Torneo di Rugby U21 Femminile

Il Comitato L'Aquila Insieme per lo Sport 2026 organizza un torneo internazionale di rugby femminile Under 21, che vedrà confrontarsi le nazionali di Italia, Scozia e Galles. L'evento, in programma il 10 ottobre 2026 presso lo Stadio Tommaso Fattori dell'Aquila, ha una forte valenza sociale e prevede iniziative di beneficenza a sostegno di associazioni del territorio che si occupano di assistenza a persone fragili.
Gli Incontri degli Alpini per L'Aquila - L'Aquila tra le pieghe della storia

Una serie di incontri pubblici e la presentazione di una pubblicazione divulgativa che raccoglie le relazioni prodotte durante conferenze tenutesi nel 2025, con un focus sulle scoperte archeologiche emerse durante i lavori di ricostruzione post-sisma 2009. Il volume, stampato in circa 10.000 copie, sara' distribuito gratuitamente. L'iniziativa e' organizzata dall'Associazione Gruppo Alpini Michele Jacobucci e si terra' in vari luoghi della citta' tra ottobre e novembre 2026.

Il Villaggio di Babbo Natale!

On Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December 2026, the Italian Red Cross of L'Aquila transforms its headquarters into an indoor, heated Christmas village, designed to let children and families experience the magic of Christmas. Santa Claus welcomes the little guests together with his elves, among games, surprises and a workshop where the village helpers are at work. The atmosphere is that of a solidarity party: all proceeds go to the Red Cross activities to support the most needy people. For children, the Elves' raffle is active, which includes hot chocolate, popcorn and cotton candy, while adults can warm up with a glass of mulled wine.

The Italian Red Cross - Committee of L'Aquila opens its doors to all citizens interested in learning about the association's activities and becoming volunteers. During the day, it will be possible to visit the headquarters, attend the presentation of the basic course, sign up, and meet volunteers involved in rescue, civil protection, and social assistance. A concrete opportunity to discover how to contribute to volunteering.
