Giro d'Abruzzo 2026 – first stage in Gessopalena

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the territory of Gessopalena will be crossed by the first stage of the Giro d'Abruzzo 2026, an international cycling race for elite and professional athletes. The route will involve Provincial Road SP 110 "Torricella Peligna - Altino", with traffic and parking bans from 12:45 PM until the passage of the "Fine Gara" vehicle. To ensure safety, closures are also planned on some sections of SS 652 Val di Sangro.
